About ApplyMe
We started with one person's job search. Not a business plan.
A friend of ours was applying to eight, ten, twelve jobs a day. Qualified. Experienced. Good at what she did. And for six weeks — nothing. Not rejections. Nothing at all.
We assumed she was doing something wrong. So we sat down and went through it with her, application by application.
She wasn't doing anything wrong.
One role had closed two days after posting — she'd applied on day nine. One had filtered her out because her resume said "team lead" and the posting said "supervisor." One came back as overqualified, for a job she'd have happily taken. Most came back as nothing at all, because three hundred people applied and she was number two hundred and eleven in a queue that stopped being read at forty.
None of that had anything to do with whether she could do the work.
That's the part nobody tells you.
Hiring got automated years ago. Most applications are screened before a person opens them. The first filter isn't a recruiter forming an opinion — it's software checking whether your words match their words. Timing decides more than qualifications. Silence isn't a verdict on you; it's a queue you never entered.
Everyone applying today is competing against a system. Almost nobody is equipped to.
So we built the other half.
ApplyMe searches thousands of job sites every day and finds the roles that actually fit your level, your field, and your pay range. It rewrites your resume for each one, so the same experience is described in the words that posting is looking for. It writes a cover letter that answers the question a recruiter would otherwise answer for you — about the gap, about the seniority, about the switch. And it applies while the role is still fresh, because shortlists are half-built within three days and being early beats being perfect.
Software does the volume. People check the work. That combination is deliberate — automation alone is how you end up applying a director to an assistant manager role, and we'd rather be slower than be that.
What we don't promise.
We can't get you hired. Nobody can, and anyone who says otherwise is selling something else.
What we can do is make sure your application arrives early, reads the way that employer needs it to read, and actually gets seen. That's the part of the process that's broken, and it's the part we fixed. The interview is yours.
We also think you should stay because it works, not because you forgot to cancel. Pause whenever you want. Cancel in two clicks, from your account, no email and no retention call.
Who's behind this.
A small team of engineers, product people, and a few who've been through long job searches themselves — the kind where you're refreshing your inbox at eleven at night and starting to take it personally.
That's who we build for. Not the candidate with the perfect resume and the perfect timing. The one who's qualified, tired, and getting no answer.
If ApplyMe gets you to the interview, we've done our job.
